4 Days Exciting Wildlife Safari

The day will begin with an early departure from Arusha, heading south toward Tarangire National Park. As we drive through the open countryside, the scenery shifts to scattered acacia woodlands and towering baobab trees. Upon entering the park, you’ll notice the rich concentration of wildlife around the Tarangire River, especially during the dry season.

Large elephant herds dominate the landscape, while zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, impalas, and waterbucks graze nearby. Lions and leopards can sometimes be spotted resting in the shade or hidden among the trees. You may also catch a glimpse of ostriches, ground hornbills, and colorful lilac-breasted rollers.

Lunch will be provided at a scenic picnic site within the park. In the late afternoon, we’ll drive toward the town of Mto wa Mbu or Karatu, where you’ll settle in for dinner and an overnight stay.

The day will begin with a scenic drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands, offering sweeping views of the crater rim and lush forests. As we descend onto the endless plains of the Serengeti, the landscape opens up to a vast sea of golden grasslands and scattered kopjes.

Wildlife sightings begin almost immediately—zebras, wildebeest, and gazelles move in great numbers across the plains. Lions lounge in the shade or stalk through the grass, while elephants move steadily through the bush. With some luck, you may spot cheetahs or leopards blending into their surroundings.

Lunch will be enjoyed in the park before continuing with a late afternoon game drive in the central Serengeti region.

As the sun begins to dip, we’ll make our way to your camp, where you’ll enjoy a hot dinner and fall asleep to the sounds of the wild.

Overnight at: Serengeti Heritage Camp / Budget Tented Camp

The day will begin with a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti, a perfect time to see predators in action and observe animals as they begin to stir. After breakfast, we’ll enjoy a final game drive through the park, possibly spotting hyenas, jackals, and large birds of prey like eagles and vultures.

We’ll begin the journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing through remote plains and scenic ridges. Along the way, we may encounter Maasai herders with their cattle and views of wildlife trailing the migration path.

Lunch will be provided on the road or near the crater rim. In the afternoon, we’ll arrive at the crater edge and check into a lodge or camp overlooking this natural wonder.

Overnight at: Simba Public Campsite / Rhino Lodge

The day will begin with an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most biodiverse places on earth. The crater floor is a natural amphitheater that supports a wide variety of wildlife, including rhinos, lions, elephants, hippos, zebras, buffaloes, and gazelles. Flamingos gather around the lakes, while jackals and hyenas search for opportunities in the open plains.

Lunch will be served at the Hippo Pool picnic site, where you can relax while observing animals near the water. The vegetation varies from lush grasslands to acacia forests and marshes, providing a scenic and diverse environment.

After the game drive, we’ll ascend the crater wall and begin our return to Arusha, arriving in the early evening.
